Theo Von, one of Barron Trump\u2019s favorite podcasters, has blasted Donald Trump\u2019s attacks on Iran as \u201cdiabolical\u201d<\/a> as the president\u2019s campaign in the Middle East continues to alienate his MAGA base.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat American is this helping?\u201d Von questioned, during Monday\u2019s episode of This Past Weekend with Theo Von, referring to the ongoing war with Iran, which reportedly cost over $11 billion within the first week.<\/a> \u201cWhat regular person is this helping? I just don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t understand.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s f****** baffling. And it\u2019s sick, and it feels like he\u2019s just been compromised by Israel, by this dark government over there. And I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s f****** dark. It\u2019s dark.\u201d<\/p>\n

Von was among the right-wing \u201cManosphere\u201d influencers who helped Trump to return to the White House for a second time, alongside the likes of Adin Ross, Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson, who platformed the president and earned him the overwhelming support <\/a>of young male voters.<\/p>\n

However, since the start of the war, the president\u2019s support from that group has dwindled as his attacks have become more heated. On Easter Sunday, Trump posted an unhinged message directed at Iranian officials.<\/p>\n

\u201cOpen the F*****\u2019 Strait [of Hormuz], you crazy b*******, or you\u2019ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!\u201d the president wrote. \u201cPraise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP\u201d<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s episode, Von described the timing of the post as \u201cunbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, when people are hoping for something new. Literally on the day when people are hoping and are believing with their hearts as much as they can and are celebrating something new, a rebirth, a resurrection, a possibility. To write that is, it\u2019s diabolical. It\u2019s insane,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Von\u2019s comments mark the latest of the MAGA influencers to shift away from Trump and his policies, following Carlson and Rogan.<\/p>\n

In an episode of his own self-titled show Monday, former Fox News host Carlson expressed remorse for helping get the president elected a second time <\/a>and said he would be \u201ctormented by it for a long time,\u201d describing Operation Epic Fury as \u201cabsolutely disgusting and evil.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re implicated in this for sure,\u201d the former Fox News told his brother Buckley Carlson, appearing to show genuine contrition. \u201cIn real ways, you and me and millions of people like us are the reason this is happening right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I do think it\u2019s like a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. You know, we\u2019ll be tormented by it for a long time. I will be. And I want to say I\u2019m sorry for misleading people. It was not intentional. That\u2019s all I\u2019ll say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rogan has also become much more critical of the president in recent months<\/a>, even going so far as to suggest that the war with Iran may have been started to distract Americans from the Epstein files scandal.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, the Epstein files come out \u2014 we go to war with Iran. It\u2019s a good way to get people to stop talking about certain things,\u201d Rogan said, during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou give them a new problem to think about.\u201d<\/p>\n
