A furious Eric Trump<\/a> lashed out at Democrats<\/a> over their redistricting maneuvers in Virginia<\/a>, which could see them win four extra seats in the House of Representatives, claiming the opposition \u201ccheats like hell.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an appearance on Newsmax\u2019s Carl Higbie Frontline late Wednesday, the middle son of President Donald Trump<\/a> tore into his family\u2019s political enemies with a familiar list of grievances about the supposed political persecution of his father.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve cheated the entire time,\u201d Trump told Higbie<\/a>. \u201cYou know, they started by making up the Russia hoax. They made up the dirty dossier. They were storming our house; they were raiding Mar-a-Lago.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey indicted my father 91 times. They threw him off of Twitter. They threw him off of Facebook. They threw him off of Instagram. They threw him off of YouTube. You know why? Because they didn\u2019t want the man to have a voice. They wanted him to be in jail.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cDo the games that they play in Virginia<\/a>, do they shock you at all? I can tell you as a person who was on the receiving end of all of this, none of this comes as a shock. You know, the Democrats have policies that are horrible. They can\u2019t win on their policies. So what do they do? They cheat like hell.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey go after the family of their political opponents. They try and throw their political opponents in jail. They try and remove the First Amendment right of their political opponents. They try and bankrupt their political opponents… Maximum leverage, maximum fight, all the time. However it takes to stay in power.\u201d<\/p>\n

The incensed younger Trump was largely referring to the aftermath of the Capitol riot of January 6, 2021, <\/a>which saw his father impeached for an unprecedented second time and made the subject of several state and federal indictments following his exit from power.<\/p>\n

The president\u2019s removal from social media platforms had nothing to do with congressional Democrats and was carried out at the discretion of the tech companies, whose CEOs have since changed tack and made friendly overtures towards Trump, lining up to attend his second inauguration.<\/p>\n

Eric Trump subsequently pivoted back to events in Virginia, the latest blue state to redraw its electoral map<\/a> to benefit the opposition, a move that found public approval in Tuesday\u2019s referendum.<\/p>\n

The president himself started the gerrymandering merry-go-round last year by urging deep-red Texas to give Republicans a national advantage, prompting a retaliatory move from California to cancel out the play.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason they redrew lines in Texas is because 2.6 million people left California,\u201d the Trump Organization executive fumed in defense of his father\u2019s backfiring call.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd you know where the vast majority of them went? They went to Texas to get the hell away from [California Governor] Gavin Newsom\u2019s ridiculous policies. But yet, they\u2019ll rig Virginia as a way to offset those votes, even though you have a state that’s incredibly purple.\u201d<\/p>\n

From there, Eric turned to his hometown, New York City, claiming that its supposed decline began with former mayor Bill de Blasio.<\/p>\n

Eric Trump also insisted, as part of his rant against Democrats, that his own hometown, New York City, was being driven into the ground, blaming new mayor Zohran Mamdani for promoting \u2018ridiculous\u2019 policies (Getty)<\/p>\n

\u201cCrime went through the roof,\u201d he screeched. \u201cLook at their tax policy. The greatest exodus in world history was the flight from New York to Florida and New York to North Carolina and so many other states because people couldn\u2019t take it anymore.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have these ridiculous things, all buses are going to be free and then you see that plan collapse this week because they can\u2019t afford it,\u201d he added, taking a swipe at Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who, until recently<\/a>, his father spoke of warmly.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery single one of their bad ideas fails and people are sick and tired of it,\u201d Eric resumed. \u201cWhile streets are dirty and crime runs rampant… parents can\u2019t walk their kids to school without smelling pot in the streets and seeing illicit drug use.\u201d<\/p>\n

He ended his rant with a flourish: \u201cThis is the Democratic Party in the United States of America. It is horrible. It\u2019s un-American. But it comes as no surprise to me anymore. They know they have to cheat. They can\u2019t win on policy. They do what they did last night, and that\u2019s how they gain their advantage.\u201d<\/p>\n
