In his latest monologue, veteran talk show host Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> pointed out several worrying signs about the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., one of the most controversial figures in the Trump administration. This comes after RFK Jr. tried to defend President Trump\u2019s claims of reducing drug prices by 600 percent.<\/p>\n Jimmy Kimmel makes fun of RFK Jr.\u2019s statements<\/p>\n Jimmy Kimmel, during his monologue in the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, spoke out about the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and his statements during his latest Senate hearing.<\/p>\n The Secretary of Health and Human Services was reportedly grilled by the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Elizabeth Warren questioned him about Trump\u2019s drug discount site, TrumpRX.<\/p>\n \u201cHe claims that TrumpRx has reduced prices by as much as 600 percent,\u201d Warren said, \u201cSix hundred percent, which I think means companies should be paying you to take their drugs.\u201d<\/p>\n RFK Jr. defended the claim, saying, \u201cPresident Trump has a different way of calculating. \u2026 If you have a $600 drug and you reduce it to 10, that\u2019s a 600 percent reduction.\u201d<\/p>\n Kimmel responded to this explanation, saying, \u201cWho are you going to believe, [Trump] or math? Have you ever bankrupted a casino? I don\u2019t think so.\u201d Kimmel also pointed out that perhaps RFK Jr.\u2019s breathing was a bigger concern than his maths. Kimmel showed additional footage from the hearing, in which RFK Jr. was audibly struggling to breathe.<\/p>\n \u201cThe actual math is 98 percent, not 600 percent, but let\u2019s not get caught up in semantics,\u2026Let\u2019s just be quiet and listen to Robert Kennedy breathe.\u201d He continued, \u201cYou understand, our secretary of health is dying before our eyes\u2026And no one is doing anything about it.\u201d<\/p>\n Kennedy has long suffered from spasmodic dysphonia.
