President Donald Trump\u2019s daughter-in-law, Lara, was blasted by the internet for net worth claims. For those unversed, Lara is married to Trump\u2019s son, Eric. Lara guested on The Katie Miller Podcast on Tuesday, April 21.<\/p>\n
In a clip doing the rounds on the internet, Lara claimed that her father-in-law\u2019s life would have been better if he had not \u201cgotten involved in politics.\u201d She also shared that he has made \u201cless money\u201d since he joined office.<\/p>\n

The internet slams Donald Trump\u2019s daughter-in-law Lara over her remarks regarding his net worth. An X (formerly Twitter) account by the name Republicans Against Trump shared a clip from the podcast. Lara says, \u201cI wish people would appreciate, especially people on the other side of the aisle, how much easier his life would have been if he\u2019d never gotten involved in politics.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cHe\u2019s the one president to leave the White House with less money than he went into it with. The presidency has cost him. Zeros had come off his net worth. He was the only president in American history to walk out of the White House poorer than he walked in.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cYou know they\u2019ve gone after his businesses, they\u2019ve gone after his family, his life prior to politics. Oh my gosh, everybody loves Donald Trump. He is an incredibly genuine, good-hearted person.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, the account added a \u201cFact Check\u201d post stating, \u201cDonald Trump and his family made over $4 billion since he took office.\u201d They added an article by The New Yorker<\/a> in the comments section as proof. The post garnered 4.1K likes, 972 reposts, 686 comments, and 136 bookmarks.<\/p>\n The internet slammed Lara for her comments, especially since the president is under fire for his political decisions and governance. One user commented sarcastically,<\/a> \u201cFixed it for her: Lara Trump: \u2018I wish people would appreciate how much easier OUR LIVES would\u2019ve been if DONALD TRUMP never gotten involved in politics.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n A second user penned,<\/a> \u201cMs. Trump, this is blatantly false!
