Thoughts and prayers for Jesse Watters<\/a>\u2019 wife.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s episode of Fox News\u2019 \u201cThe Five,\u201d Watters decided to let his sexism take the wheel after the show played back-to-back clips of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D). <\/p>\n

The clip of Newsom showed him openly crying during a press conference<\/a> last week while speaking about young people getting involved in their communities. <\/p>\n

In the clip that featured Pelosi, the former House speaker was talking to MS NOW about the possibility of a woman becoming president. Although it was not featured in the clip that aired on \u201cThe Five,\u201d Pelosi joked to the outlet<\/a> she may not see a female president in her lifetime \u201cbecause I\u2019m old.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cWell, Nancy says there will not be a female president in her lifetime, and I say thank God,\u201d Watters said after the clips aired. \u201cI hope there is not a female president in my lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n

When one of Watters\u2019 female co-hosts, Jessica Tarlov, asked Watters why he\u2019d say something like that, he began to list off a string of misogynistic reasons, like the belief that women have a lack \u201cemotional maturity\u201d and \u201cprofessional contacts in the business world to manage the economy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDo women have the respect of the generals?\u201d Watters asked, before slyly laughing at himself, like he knew he sounded like a complete jerk. \u201cPeople are saying women don\u2019t have the sense of humor to be president.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added with a smile, \u201cNone of those things I believe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amid Watters\u2019 rant, however, his co-host, comedian Greg Gutfeld, appeared a tad uncomfortable by the words coming out of Watters\u2019 mouth \u2014 but also called out his colleague for trolling for outrage.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are just jumping off a cliff,\u201d Gutfeld said. \u201cJust because you are bored.\u201d<\/p>\n

After taking a few jabs at women, Watters decided to move on to Newsom.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe Gavin Newsom could be the first woman president,\u201d Watters said. \u201cBecause when I hear him talk, he sounds like a woman. The kind of emotional instability, you don\u2019t know whether he\u2019s having a mid-life crisis, an identity crisis, a crisis of confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

He, unfortunately, continued, \u201cI\u2019ve read the book, and it\u2019s great, and he has so much potential with his athleticism, his hair, he\u2019s a genuinely nice guy. But the only reason he is running for president is to prove his worth to his father and to get back at all the bullies who beat the **** out of him in middle school. Now I\u2019m saying don\u2019t run for president, run to see a psychiatrist instead.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is not the first time \u2014 this week \u2014 Watters has compared Newsom to a woman. <\/p>\n

\u201cGavin is, how do I say this, he\u2019s kind of like a woman trapped in a man\u2019s body,\u201d Watters said on Monday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Five.\u201d<\/a> \u201cYou could probably convince the base that Gavin is a woman. He changes his mind a lot, he\u2019s always in the mirror, he\u2019s always crying, he\u2019s crossing his legs constantly. I think they could buy that.\u201d<\/p>\n
