Presumably, Powerus will not build drones and design golf clubs, so calling it a merger is a bit of a fiction. Aureus raised money for this merger with help from Dominari Securities, where the Trump brothers are also shareholders.\u00a0<\/p>\n Initially, Don Jr. and Eric tried<\/a> to sell the Powerus drones to Gulf countries currently under attack after their daddy started an unnecessary war in Iran. Sure, that is unethical as hell and essentially pressures those countries to line the Trump family\u2019s pockets, but that\u2019s just how things are these days, right?<\/p>\n Even in light of this corrupt contract for a secret number of drones from a company backed by the president\u2019s oldest sons, the company is ridiculously pretending its selection is based on merit.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re not going to pick a system because of who\u2019s on an investor list,\u201d said Brett Velicovich, the president of Powerus. \u201cThey\u2019re picking because they need it now.\u201d<\/p>\n Uh huh, sure.\u00a0<\/p>\n But also, we need to buy drones from Trump\u2019s nepo-baby sons ASAP, per<\/a> Velicovich, because \u201cwe are in an arms race, and America will lose if we don\u2019t build fast.\u201d<\/p>\n Sure, brah. Sure. Definitely tell the American people we should be grateful to shower even more money on the Trump family. Secret money.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to the Large Adult Sons themselves, they are just private businessmen, but they also get to engage in conflicts of interest this time around because people didn\u2019t praise them enough<\/a> for their \u201crestraint\u201d during Trump\u2019s first term.<\/p>\n Awww. Sorry that you are just widdle guys and needed to enter into full-blown corruption because you didn\u2019t get enough snuggles last time, and therefore you get to increase<\/a> your fortunes wildly. Just before the 2024 election, both Large Sons had estimated net worths of around $40-$50 million each. About a year later, Eric was up to $400 million, and Don Jr. was sitting at around $300 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n There\u2019s no longer any attempt to explain or justify these massive conflicts of interest. Instead, the boys just give comments like Eric\u2019s vague statement<\/a>: \u201cI am incredibly proud to invest in companies I believe in. Drones are clearly the wave of the future.\u201d<\/p>\n This is corruption, but it\u2019s also nepo-baby behavior in action, and that\u2019s a thing the Trump family knows and loves.\u00a0<\/p>\n Amazon appears to be readying itself to bribe the Trump administration\u2014just as it did with the \u201cMelania\u201d movie<\/a>\u2014by floating an \u201cApprentice\u201d reboot<\/a> starring Don Jr.<\/p>\n If there\u2019s anyone more viscerally unpleasant to build a show around, we\u2019re not aware of them. Junior\u2019s aggressive, sweaty, bullyboy behavior will not play well, but that\u2019s not the point.<\/p>\n These guys are criminally grifty failsons who, if daddy wasn\u2019t made of money and wasn\u2019t president, wouldn\u2019t have jobs.
