The government resubmitted the legislation without amendments.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our official register of companies operating in the cryptocurrency market includes over 100 entities directly linked to Russia, Belarus, and the countries of the former Soviet Union,\u201d Tusk said, according to the report. \u201cThis is a wake-up call, we must ensure the security of the state and its citizens in this matter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cryptocurrencies are increasingly used as instruments of hostile activity, underscoring the need for tighter supervision, Tusk said. &#8220;Unfortunately, cryptocurrencies often serve as a tool for sabotage, including by enemies of the Polish state, so basic control is all the more necessary and essential.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Nawrocki <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/12\/02\/poland-s-president-vetos-crypto-market-bill-cites-threats-to-freedoms-of-poles\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">vetoed the legislation last week, <\/a>arguing it would impose overly stringent regulations on the crypto market.
