Legendary gossip columnist Perez Hilton recently admitted something that fans may find somewhat surprising. During an interview with conservative podcast<\/a> host Tomi Lahren, the media personality revealed that he \u201cwishes and prays\u201d his daughters turn out like Ivanka Trump<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Now that he\u2019s a dad (Hilton has three children\u2014Mario, Mia, and Mayte), Perez\u2019s priorities have shifted dramatically. Once known only as the go-to guy for scintillating Hollywood gossip, Hilton\u2019s empire exponentially expanded. In the years since he first hit the L.A. scene, the entrepreneur has made waves and made some pretty significant lifestyle changes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hilton welcomed his son, Mario, in 2013 via surrogate. Daughters Mia (born in 2015) and Mayte (born in 2017) followed. In a candid HuffPost<\/a> article, Hilton opened up about his decision to use surrogacy, writing, \u201cWhy wouldn\u2019t I want to have my own biological children? While I don\u2019t rule out adoption in the future, for me it was important to have kids with my DNA. My dad passed away when I was 15 and having my children is a way of him living through them\u2014literally.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fast forward to May of 2026, and Hilton has some\u2026well, interesting, things to say about raising his brood. While talking to Leher about politics, Donald Trump<\/a>, cancel culture, and more, Perez said, \u201cI made a video recently, and I said, \u2018You know what? I have two daughters and a son, and I wish and pray that my daughters grow up to be like Ivanka Trump.\u2019 To me, she is such a role model and an inspiration for young women. She\u2019s smart. She\u2019s self-sufficient, and happily married, and a mother, and is capable of so much and is doing all of these things in the business world.\u201d<\/p>\n

And then, twist, Hilton praises Presdient Trump, saying, \u201cSo kudos to him and the late Ivana Trump for, you know, raising all of their kids really well. And actually that\u2019s probably the best compliment that I can give Donald Trump because at the end of the day, like the thing that I\u2019m proudest of and the thing that matters to me the most is being a father.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perez and Trump fans alike can probably agree on one thing: Hilton\u2019s assessment of Ivanka is spot on. The First Daughter is an entrepreneur and so much more. In 2019, the mom of three (she shares children Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore with her husband, Jared Kushner) helped create the Women\u2019s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, and in 2023, she co-founded Planet Harvest to reduce agricultural food waste. Her extensive and impressive resume also includes a stint as the White House Director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship and Executive Vice Presdient of Development and Acquisitions for the Trump Organization.<\/p>\n
