Netanyahu made the comments in a 60 Minutes interview, previewed by CBS News<\/a>\u2018s Face the Nation. He told the outlet that the U.S.-Israeli war in Iran is not over because he believes the regime is still holding on to enriched uranium.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it accomplished a great deal, but it\u2019s not over because there\u2019s still nuclear material, enriched uranium, that has to be taken out of Iran,\u201d Netanyahu said. \u201cThere is still enrichment sites that have to be dismantled. There are still proxies that Iran supports. There are ballistic missiles that they still want to produce.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked how the enriched uranium could be removed, Netanyahu said on Sunday<\/a>, \u201cYou go in and you take it out.\u201d He called the idea of removal of enriched uranium a \u201cterrifically important mission\u201d but refused to give a timetable on it or answer if the uranium could be removed by force if there is no agreement with Iran.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re going to ask me these questions, I\u2019m going to dodge them because I\u2019m not going to talk about our military possibilities, plans, or anything of the kind,\u201d Netanyahu said.<\/p>\n The Washington Examiner has reached out to the White House for comment on Netanyahu\u2019s statements. <\/p>\n Trump had pledged in mid-March<\/a> not to deploy ground troops in Iran, but has weighed the need<\/a> for a special operation to take the country\u2019s enriched uranium. In an interview with the National News Desk on Sunday, Trump said the U.S. \u201ccannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon because they\u2019re crazy.\u201d He also said the U.S. would obtain Iran\u2019s nuclear materials eventually.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll get that at some point,\u201d Trump said, referring to the enriched uranium. \u201cWhenever we want.
