Photo by Kim Kyung-taek<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">Bernard Arnault, chairman of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Mo\u00ebt Hennessy), visited the flagship Shinsegae Department Store in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, on Tuesday, beginning his first official trip to Korea in three years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">Arnault arrived at the &#8220;Louis Vuitton Visionary Journey Seoul&#8221; store inside the flagship location at around 12:30 p.m. His daughter Delphine Arnault, chief executive officer of Christian Dior, accompanied him on the visit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">At the site, Arnault exchanged greetings with Shinsegae CEO Park Ju-hyung and Louis Vuitton CEO Pietro Beccari, and received explanations about the store&#8217;s exterior design. He then toured the interior facilities and reviewed operational conditions, according to sources.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">&#8220;Louis Vuitton Visionary Journey Seoul&#8221; is the largest Louis Vuitton store in the world. Spanning six floors, the space features not only the brand&#8217;s products but also exhibition-style content showcasing Louis Vuitton&#8217;s history, culture and craftsmanship, along with a restaurant and caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">As Tuesday was the Shinsegae flagship store&#8217;s regular closing day, Arnault was able to examine the store in a relatively quiet environment without general customers, sources said.
