KYIV\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Ukraine’s anti-corruption force on Monday said it had uncovered a multi-million-dollar money laundering scheme, which Ukrainian media reported involved President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s former chief of staff, Andriy Yermak.<\/p>\n
Yermak — until late last year Zelenskyy’s closest aide and one of Ukraine’s most powerful men — resigned in November 2025 after his home was raided by anti-corruption officers.<\/p>\n
He had served as Zelenskyy’s right-hand man throughout much of the Russian invasion. His downfall shook Kyiv’s wartime political scene.<\/p>\n
NABU said an “organized group” laundered “460 million hryvnias ($10.5 million) through a luxury construction project near Kyiv,” adding that one of the members was a “former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine”.<\/p>\n
“Urgent investigative actions are ongoing,” NABU added.<\/p>\n
