Lauren S\u00e1nchez was caught shooing away her husband, Jeff Bezos, while posing for pics on the Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2026 red carpet<\/a> Sunday night.<\/p>\n

The awkward moment was captured on camera and uploaded to Vanity Fair\u2019s official X account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It showed S\u00e1nchez, 56, and Bezos, 62, posing together at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art before the former journalist gestured for the Amazon founder to move aside.<\/p>\n

Once Bezos was out of the frame, S\u00e1nchez went on to pose solo.<\/p>\n

She showed off her all-black ensemble<\/a>, which consisted of a vintage John Galliano strapless gown, tights, heels and a stunning selection of 85 carats of diamonds designed by Lorraine Schwartz.<\/p>\n

Bezos complemented his wife\u2019s ensemble with a classic black tuxedo and matching bowtie.<\/p>\n

S\u00e1nchez and her billionaire husband are no strangers to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, as they have attended the annual bash together the past two years.<\/p>\n

Last year, three months before they tied the knot in a star-studded Italian wedding ceremony<\/a> in June 2025, S\u00e1nchez donned a white feathered Oscar de la Renta mermaid gown paired with Lorraine Schwartz emeralds.<\/p>\n

In 2024, she stunned in a\u00a0sheer red Lever Couture gown, a ruffled train and a diamond necklace.<\/p>\n

S\u00e1nchez and Bezos, meanwhile, were joined at this year\u2019s Vanity Fair Oscars Party by a who\u2019s who of Hollywood, including: Nicole Kidman, Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and Kylie Jenner<\/a>, Kim Kardashian<\/a> and so many more.<\/p>\n

The pair has a busy season up ahead, as they are both serving as honorary co-chairs<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0lead sponsors of the Met Gala<\/a> 2026\u00a0in May.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been such a fun and meaningful experience,\u201d S\u00e1nchez said during a \u201cToday\u201d appearance<\/a> earlier this month. \u201cWhen Anna called me and said, \u2018Do you want to co-chair and also be the sponsors of the Met?\u2019 I was so honored.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIt\u2019s going to be incredible to see what everyone wears and to be able to really honor all these designers.
