Melania Trump says her adult son Barron<\/a>, who turns 20 in March, still requires full-time motherly love.<\/p>\n

The first lady made the comment while promoting her new documentary, \u201cMelania,\u201d<\/a> which features her in the weeks leading up to her husband\u2019s second inauguration last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need to be there for a child nonstop, especially when they need you, especially at that age that Barron is,\u201d Melania said in a Thursday morning interview on Fox Business<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barron is Melania\u2019s only child with President Trump, who has four other children from his previous two marriages.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old political scion is enjoying his second year at the NYU Stern School of Business, though he reportedly left the Manhattan campus in September to instead attend classes at NYU\u2019s D.C. campus, closer to his parents.<\/p>\n

Despite his family constantly being under a spotlight, Barron tends to keep a low profile. That includes refraining from interviews and engaging in social media.<\/p>\n

When Trump was elected president for the first time in 2016, Melania and Barron remained in New York City for several months so the fifth-grader could finish the school year at Columbia Prep.<\/p>\n

A source told the Daily News that Melania was concerned her son wouldn\u2019t have \u201cthe same relationship with new teachers\u201d in D.C. that he enjoyed on the Upper West Side.<\/p>\n

Barron was invited to serve as a GOP delegate when his dad received the 2024 Republican party nomination, but his mother told NPR that her son had \u201cprior commitments\u201d that prohibited him from joining his other siblings onstage at the convention.<\/p>\n

He made his MAGA rally debut in July 2024, where he was enthusiastically cheered but still didn\u2019t speak.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear how prominently the 6-foot 7-inch heir to the Trump fortune figures into the \u201cMelania\u201d documentary.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone wants to know, so here it is,\u201d she cryptically says in a trailer for the film<\/a> that includes clips of the elusive mother and son together.<\/p>\n
