Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan left for Kazakhstan on Wednesday to attend a summit of Turkic states and engage in high-level diplomatic talks in the Central Asian nation\u2019s capital, according to diplomatic sources.<\/p>\n
Summit and bilateral meeting in Turkistan<\/p>\n
At the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Erdo\u011fan will take part in the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in the historic city of Turkistan. He is also expected to attend a meeting titled \u201cAstana-Ankara: From brotherhood to a pragmatic Eurasian alliance,\u201d aimed at further deepening bilateral cooperation between T\u00fcrkiye and Kazakhstan. Erdo\u011fan was seen off at Ankara\u2019s Esenbo\u011fa Airport by Vice President Cevdet Y\u0131lmaz and Ankara Governor Yakup Canpolat.<\/p>\n
