<\/p>\nPresident Donald J. Trump issued a sharp warning to his supporters on Sunday, taking to Truth Social to criticize a new \u201cElection Integrity Group\u201d recently formed by Senate Democrats.<\/p>\n
The President\u2019s comments follow the news that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has recruited high-profile figures, including former Attorney General Eric Holder and veteran Democratic attorney Marc Elias, to spearhead the effort.<\/p>\n
In his post, President Trump characterized the appointments as a direct threat to the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.<\/p>\n
He specifically pointed to Holder\u2019s tenure under the Obama administration and Elias\u2019s past legal work, including his role in the 2016 Russia investigation, as evidence that the group intends to interfere with the voting process.<\/p>\n

He credited the success of that election in part to what he called a \u201cRepublican Election Integrity Army\u201d and pledged to deploy a similar, more robust operation for the 2026 cycle.<\/p>\n \u201cWe will be doing the same again in 2026, but it will be much bigger and stronger,\u201d Trump stated, emphasizing that the goal is to ensure all Americans can have their voices heard. \u201cBe assured this Election will be fair!\u201d<\/p>\n The Democratic task force, described by Senator Schumer as an effort to protect the midterms from \u201cdirect threats,\u201d has stated its mission is to ensure every vote is counted and to combat voter suppression.
