Following the arrival ceremony, a military band performed the national anthems of both countries, after which Erdo\u011fan inspected the honor guard. The two presidents then introduced their respective delegations and posed for official photographs ahead of their one-on-one meeting.<\/p>\n
The leaders greeted each other in keeping with diplomatic tradition, while an honor guard was lined up in the ceremonial hall to mark the visit of the distinguished guest.<\/p>\n
After the official ceremony concluded, formal negotiations between Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan commenced in a restricted format.<\/p>\n
Later in the day, Erdo\u011fan and Tokayev are expected to co-chair the sixth meeting of the T\u00fcrkiye\u2013Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. The two leaders are also scheduled to oversee the signing of bilateral agreements and hold a joint press conference.<\/p>\n
Several senior Turkish officials accompanied Erdo\u011fan during the visit, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defence Minister Ya\u015far G\u00fcler, Trade Minister \u00d6mer Bolat, and Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran.<\/p>\n
Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan arrived in Kazakhstan on May 13 for an official state visit aimed at strengthening political, economic, and regional cooperation between Ankara and Astana.<\/p>\n
