Mike Johnson<\/a> and his infamous catchphrase, \u201cI don\u2019t know\u201d, have struck again after he was asked about Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s latest controversy.<\/p>\n

With the Iran war, started by US president Trump, hiking up gas and food prices, it is proving an extremely unpopular decision among Americans who are finding their wallets stretched.<\/p>\n

So, when Trump told reporters, \u201cI don\u2019t think about Americans\u2019 financial situation. I don\u2019t think about anybody<\/a>\u201d, in relation to the Iran war, it sparked a whole host of backlash.<\/p>\n

But, when the Speaker of the House was asked by a reporter whether this \u201cwas the right message\u201d for the president to be sending, Johnson retreated back to the get out of jail free card he\u2019s become widely known for using \u2013 \u201cI don\u2019t know\u201d.<\/p>\n

Johnson said: \u201cI don\u2019t know the context in which he made that comment, but I can tell you the president thinks about Americans\u2019 financial situations.\u201d<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take long at all for people to start mocking Johnson for his staggering apparent inability to know things.<\/p>\n

There were memes.<\/p>\n

The Republicans Against Trump account called him a \u201ccoward\u201d.<\/p>\n

Someone else asked: \u201cIn what context can the President of the United States saying he doesn\u2019t think about Americans’ financial situation be acceptable?\u201d<\/p>\n

One person posted a video montage of previous times he\u2019s denied knowledge of something.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike clockwork\u2026.of course Mike Johnson doesn\u2019t know about Trump saying he doesn\u2019t care about \u2018Americans\u2019 financial situation\u2019,\u201d another mocked.<\/p>\n

Another wrote: \u201cApparently, Johnson\u2019s standard response is to just shake a Magic 8 ball that contains three choices: \u2018I don\u2019t know the context,\u2019 \u2018That\u2019s not my lane,\u2019 and \u2018I haven\u2019t seen that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone else suggested: \u201cThere is no context in which saying you don\u2019t care about Americans\u2019 financial situation can be seen as anything other than callous disregard for the people in this country who are struggling.\u201d<\/p>\n
