It has also thrown light on the French government\u2019s role in hiding signs of marital problems just to protect Macron\u2019s political standing.<\/p>\n<p>Florian Tardiff is a political journalist for Paris Match, owned by French billionaire Vincent Bollor\u00e9, who has created a media network\u2014described by watchdogs as pushing French media toward the far-right. Bollor\u00e9 owns major media companies like radio station Europe 1 and publisher Hachette. Tardiff has worked for seven years for C News, the far-right tv channel owned by Bollor\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p2\">Since the book\u2019s release on 13 May, the internet has erupted with reactions, memes, and theories.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Iranian bombshell\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p2\">The book explores the \u201ctumultuous, high-profile\u201d relationship of the French president and his wife, Brigitte, who have been married for more than two decades. It highlights the infamous moment when the first lady was captured in a video slapping the French President while preparing to disembark their plane in Hanoi, Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p2\">Tardif claims that Brigitte found messages from the Iranian actress on her husband\u2019s phone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">Following the book\u2019s claims, a France-based independent media house, AlertesInfos, posted \u201cdisturbing\u201d statements made by Farahani in March 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">\u201cIn France, too, there is the culture of the mistress and the lover. Why stay with your wife if we are no longer in love with her or if we are in love with someone else?\u201d, the media house <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AlertesInfos\/status\/2054644328593785035\" rel=\"nofollow\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">\u201cMy theory is that all Frenchmen are stuck with their mother. Their first wife is the mother they never had, and once they have her, they never let her go\u201d, AlertesInfos posted on X.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p3\">Soon after, internet users started a meme fest.
