During a press conference, Vance joked<\/a>, \u201cWell, I just don\u2019t think it sounds like the president of the United States to have a televised competition for who would succeed him as his apprentice.\u201d<\/p>\n He said that everyone might not expect the president to conduct such an event to decide the presidential heir. This remark referred to the Trump-presented reality show, wherein people from different backgrounds showcase their entrepreneurial and sales skills, hoping to land a contract to promote the president\u2019s properties and to get a cash prize.<\/p>\n These comments come amid the president on Monday having conducted a spontaneous audience poll, asking them who they think could become president between Vance and Rubio.
