He interacted with celebrities and customers, according to clips circulating on social media.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">During his last visit to China in October, Cook met government officials in Beijing and reiterated Apple\u2019s commitment to increasing investment in China amid heightened US-China trade and technology tensions.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Cook\u2019s itinerary.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">For the quarter ended December, Apple reported record revenue in Greater China \u2013 mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan \u2013 of US$25.5 billion, driven by demand for the iPhone 17, according to its earnings statement in January.
