Tiger Woods<\/a> apparently cut his rehab stay short so he could be there for girlfriend Vanessa Trump<\/a>\u2018s daughter\u2019s special day.<\/p>\n

After it was reported by Page Six<\/a> that the pro golfer, 50, attended Kai Trump<\/a>\u2018s graduation from the Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, sources said he wouldn\u2019t have missed it.<\/p>\n

According to a Monday, May 18, report in journalist Rob Shuter\u2018s Naughty But Nice Substack<\/a>, the 15-time major champion left his rehab stint in Switzerland on the earlier side so he could be in Florida.<\/p>\n

\u201cTiger absolutely adores Kai,\u201d one source said. \u201cShe\u2019s become like a daughter<\/a> to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe wasn\u2019t going to miss this moment,\u201d the source said. \u201cTiger has become deeply attached to Vanessa\u2019s children, especially Kai.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kai \u2014 who celebrated her 19th birthday the same day Woods had a court hearing on May 12 regarding his recent DUI arrest \u2014 bonds with her mother\u2019s boyfriend over golf. The teenager, whom Vanessa shares with Donald Trump Jr.<\/a>, will be attending the University of Miami, where she\u2019ll reportedly play golf on the women\u2019s collegiate team.<\/p>\n

\u201cGolf is the language they bond through<\/a>,\u201d another insider told Shuter. \u201cTiger understands the pressure, expectations, and attention that come with growing up in the spotlight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this stage of his life, family means everything to Tiger,\u201d the insider added of the athlete, who was arrested following a rollover car accident on March 27. \u201cAnd Kai truly feels like family to him now.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Globe previously reported, Woods pleaded not guilty after his DUI arrest, when he was reportedly found with opioids on him.<\/p>\n

Globe confirmed that Woods was granted approval by a judge to travel outside the country to seek treatment following his arrest. At the recent court hearing<\/a>, it was ruled that prosecutors will be able to request Woods\u2019 prescription drug records. However, it was agreed that there will be a protective order regarding their release to shield them from public view.<\/p>\n

Woods released a statement on March 31 via X<\/a> regarding the crash, writing, \u201cI know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery<\/a>,\u201d the statement continued, adding that he hopes to \u201creturn in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place.\u201d<\/p>\n
