The question of what the Trump family dynamics are like keeps getting asked, perhaps because reports keep coming out that they don\u2019t all get along. President Donald Trump and Melania Trump<\/a> seem to be a unit with their kid, Barron Trump. And then there\u2019s Trump\u2019s other kids<\/a>, Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany. How is the relationship between all of them?<\/p>\n

According to RadarOnline<\/a>, Barron and his siblings<\/a> don\u2019t really have a great relationship, and Melania is a big reason why. And it started when he was younger, with his mother reportedly keeping him in his own separate world. There\u2019s, of course, also the fact that more than a decade separates Barron from his closest sibling, Tiffany, whose mother is Marla Maples, and there\u2019s over 20 years between him and his oldest brother, Don Jr., whose mother and that of Eric and Ivanka was Ivana Trump.<\/p>\n

Melania reportedly prioritized privacy for her son and focused on his relationship with her own family, particularly her late mother Amalija Knavs. To that effect, one Reddit user wrote: \u201cBarron is less than half their age and the son of his dad\u2019s third wife. They never lived together or spent much meaningful time together, the way siblings usually do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another gave some inside information, \u201cI grew up in DC, and my neighbor played soccer against Barron,\u201d one Reddit user claimed. \u201cThey told me that not a single member of that family ever showed up to watch him play. I honestly feel bad for the kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speculation is that this was what Melania wanted. \u201cI wonder if Melania tried to shield Barron from the excesses of his older half-brothers,\u201d another commenter said.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, there was tension in the family after Eric publicly repeated a story about something Barron allegedly said to President Joe Biden during his father\u2019s inauguration. And according to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, Melania wasn\u2019t happy. <\/p>\n

\u201cMelania does not want Barron discussed. Ever,\u201d a source told Shuter. \u201cShe told Eric to shut his mouth. She protects that boy like a lioness.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is in line with other reports about Melania\u2019s attempts to protect her son. Last year the\u00a0first lady\u00a0<\/a>was reportedly very upset when a pastor publicly shared details of a phone call he had with\u00a0Barron Trump. Pastor Stuart Knechtle said on a podcast that the youngest Trump was \u201cvery close to putting his faith in Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n

It left Melania \u201cfurious,\u201d because the conversation was supposed to be private. \u201cMelania has always stressed discretion,\u201d a source told\u00a0Rob Shuter<\/a>. \u201cShe believes her family\u2019s private life is sacred. This? It\u2019s a betrayal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis isn\u2019t about politics or religion. It\u2019s about trust,\u201d another insider said. \u201c[Melania] has always tried to shield him from the spotlight.\u201d And the first lady reportedly tightened the circle because of it. \u201cMelania\u2019s circle is circulating reminders about confidentiality,\u201d a source revealed. \u201cEveryone who works with the family knows: leaks will not be tolerated \u2026 Barron\u2019s moment might have been innocent, but the betrayal? Devastating.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Reddit, people had mixed reactions about Melania\u2019s decisions. \u201cMelania is a ghoul who only cares about her own child,\u201d one Reddit user said, while another one added, \u201cI can\u2019t think of a worse person to be giving young mothers advice.\u201d But there were others who were complimentary of the first lady\u2019s attempts to protect her son, as well. Even if that means protecting him from his siblings.<\/p>\n
