The tech billionaire&#8217;s remarks came after the company announced a new round of global cuts with about 10% of its workforce being affected in the first major wave. At the same time, the company said that around 7,000 employees would be moved to new AI-focused initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want to be clear that we do not expect other company-wide layoffs this year. I also want to \u2060acknowledge that \u200cwe haven&#8217;t been as clear as we aspire to be in our communication, and that&#8217;s \u2060one area I want to make sure we improve,&#8221; he said in the memo.<br \/>But ex-employees of the company, who were laid off recently, warned of more layoffs in the future.
