Nicki Minaj showed support for Elon Musk Thursday by attending SpaceX\u2019s test flight in Texas, where the company planned to launch its Starship rocket, testing its capabilities and durability.<\/p>\n

Nicki appeared the on the SpaceX livestream<\/a>, wearing a T-shirt with a Starship graphic, and encouraged fans to join her. \u201cBarbz, come on down, because this is a lot of fun. I\u2019m excited,\u201d she said.\u00a0\u201cThis is historic, this is a major moment y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also noted that it was her first time attending a rocket launch.<\/p>\n

\u201cMajor shoutout to Elon,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

Nicki later shared a video of herself posing and dancing in the outfit on X<\/a>,\u00a0captioning the post,\u00a0“Even did a lil video for the Barbz. #Starbase #Starships.” \u00a0 <\/p>\n

The launch was canceled after “the hydraulic pin holding the tower arm in place did not retract,” Elon later explained on X.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/p>\n

He’s the latest public figure Nicki has publicly supported, alongside President Donald Trump,\u00a0a topic she addressed in a recent interview with TIME<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany celebrities feel the way I do, but they don\u2019t say it,” she said of her support of Trump. “Sometimes you just need one brave person to get the brunt of the impact. I think I am the catalyst for that change.”<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully when they see me and hear me speak and feel my energy,\u201d she continued, \u201cthat will make them say, \u2018You know what: Who am I afraid of? What am I afraid of?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
