The Tesla CEO shared over a dozen posts related to the last episode of the satirical superhero series on Thursday and Friday, igniting a beef on X with the show’s creator, Eric Kripke<\/a>.<\/p>\n Musk replied<\/a> to a Boys viewer describing the finale’s treatment of superpowered antagonist Homelander (Antony Starr) with one word: “Pathetic.”<\/p>\n He then responded<\/a> to a different post about Homelander’s humiliation with a shot at The Boys’ showrunner: “Kripke probably got flack from his wife\u2019s bf for Homelander being used in based memes and had to write that ending as a groveling apology.”<\/p>\n Kripke was seemingly delighted by Musk’s disapproval, as he shared<\/a> the “pathetic” post with the caption, “OMG this is his review of what @TheBoysTV did to Homelander, I\u2019ll never get a better review ever.”<\/p>\n Elon Musk in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 19, 2025 Musk then responded to Kripke’s post by insisting that he hadn’t watched<\/a>The Boys (or, at least, the finale that he repeatedly posted about: “I didn\u2019t watch the show tbh”).<\/p>\n He added, “Here\u2019s the second best review,” followed by a link to his aforementioned post about the “groveling apology.”<\/p>\n In another reply to a different skeptical Boys viewer, Musk wrote<\/a>, “Kripke is simply projecting his own cowardice.”<\/p>\n Musk also claimed<\/a> to be unbothered by the show. “I\u2019m not upset, just remarking that the ending sounds fake and gay,” he wrote in another post.<\/p>\n He later added<\/a>, “I just it\u2019s really funny to call Homolander fake & gay. Cracks me up everytime \ud83e\udd23\ud83e\udd23.”<\/p>\n The Boys finale briefly introduced a character with a number of striking parallels to Musk. The character, G\u00fcnter Van Ellis (Ivan Sherry), is seen pestering Oh Father (Daveed Diggs) and Homelander at the White House.<\/p>\n In his single scene, G\u00fcnter is described as the “world’s richest man” and an “amateur astronaut” with 17 children \u2014 a not-so-subtle dig at Musk, who is currently the richest person in the world and has explored space travel with his company SpaceX (though he only has 14 kids<\/a>, so not every detail aligns perfectly).<\/p>\n Elon Musk in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 11, 2025; Ivan Sherry on ‘The Boys’ The billionaire also wears a black baseball cap that says “We believe in Homelander,” which looks suspiciously like Musk’s black “Make America Great Again” hat from Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.<\/p>\n Shortly after G\u00fcnter tries to discuss “white fertility rates,” Homelander takes the billionaire outside, grabs him, and flies into the sky before returning alone, indicating that G\u00fcnter is no more.<\/p>\n “He’s an astronaut, I took him to space,” Homelander says.<\/p>\n Musk did not mention G\u00fcnter in any of his posts.<\/p>\n Eric Kripke in Los Angeles on May 19, 2026 Kripke later shared a screenshot<\/a> of two of Musk’s posts and ridiculed the billionaire for his comedic instincts. “HAHAHAHAH. He’s posting. MULTIPLE TIMES.
