Trump\u2019s official X account posted an AI-generated video showing him grabbing Colbert and throwing him into a dumpster. The clip featured Trump dancing to the Village People\u2019s \u201cY.M.C.A.\u201d afterward.<\/p>\n \u201cCertainly the idea that he throws a man in the dumpster at the end of it indicates that he was personally involved,\u201d Carter said. The reporter, who wrote the book \u201cThe Late Shift,\u201d argued the situation reflects a broader threat to free speech. He stated that the Trump administration actively sought to silence a critic.<\/p>\n \u201cThe government was pushing to get rid of this man because he was a critic,\u201d Carter said.
