Donald Trump Jr. is reportedly set to marry Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson<\/a> in the Bahamas over the Memorial Day weekend. <\/p>\n

President Trump announced his son\u2019s engagement to the 39 year-old Anderson at the White House in December. <\/p>\n

However, in the Oval Office<\/a> on Thursday, the president suggested that he may not be able to attend the ceremony due to his work commitments as commander-in-chief. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d like me to go,\u201d Trump said. \u200b \u201cI said, \u2018You know, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two people familiar with the pair\u2019s upcoming wedding told CNN<\/a> that Anderson and Trump Jr. plan marry on a small island. <\/p>\n

The sources claimed that the guest list will only include immediate family and the couple\u2019s closest friends, with less than 50 people expected to attend.<\/p>\n

The president is not expected to attend in part due to the couple\u2019s desire to have a private ceremony, CNN added, though Trump Jr.\u2019s siblings are said to be among the guests. <\/p>\n

Speculation about Anderson and Trump Jr.\u2019s romance sparked in September 2024 after the couple was spotted holding hands <\/a>\u2014 despite the fact that the father of five had not publicly called off his six-year engagement to former political commentator and U.S. ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Before his relationship with Guilfoyle, 57, Trump Jr. had been married to the mother of his five children, Vanessa Trump<\/a>, who has since moved on with Tiger Woods.<\/p>\n

Who is Bettina Anderson?<\/p>\n

Anderson has described herself as a \u201ctypical stay-at-home mom,\u201d on her Instagram<\/a> account, albeit one without \u201chousehold chores, a husband or kids.\u201d\u200b<\/p>\n

The socialite has modeled for magazines and is a third-generation resident of Palm Beach, The New York Times<\/a> reports. <\/p>\n

She is the daughter of the late Harry Loy Anderson Jr., who became the youngest bank president in the country at the age of 26 and passed away in 2013.\u200b<\/p>\n

Anderson has worked for the Paradise Fund, a charity she founded with young philanthropists to protect Florida\u2019s environment.\u200b<\/p>\n

After The Mail reported that Trump Jr. and Anderson had been seen kissing in September 2024, the publication reported<\/a> in December that the pair were seen holding hands in Palm Beach.<\/p>\n

At the time, Trump Jr. had not publicly called off his engagement to Guilfoyle.<\/p>\n

In January 2025, Anderson and Trump Jr. attended inaugural events for the newly relected president together. Since then, they have made a slew of public appearances together. \u200b<\/p>\n
