The United States expresses support for Warsaw’s proposal to establish a permanent American military base in Poland. This position was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, in his post on X.
I have just had another meeting with the head of the Pentagon, Pete Gegset. In response to my letter, he told me that the U.S. Department of Defense is open to Poland’s proposal for a permanent base of American troops in Poland. I again heard that Poland is an exemplary ally to the Americans and that they will give priority to cooperation with Poland. Now we are moving to the next stage of work on the project
