Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart costars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum are new parents!
After revealing on Instagram that they’d tied the knot in an outdoor wedding in June 2025, in November, they made another big announcement: They were expecting their first child. Their baby, a girl, arrived in April 2026.
“Our daughter has been the greatest gift, and we are loving getting to know her better with each passing day,” they told PEOPLE in June.
Krakow and Rosenbaum first went public with their relationship in February 2024. While the couple haven’t divulged many details of their relationship, the actress talked to PEOPLE in April 2024 about the “magic” and romance on the set of When Calls the Heart.
“I do think there’s just something special about the show and the people involved,” the actress said. “When you put a bunch of special people together in one place, connections are bound to be made.”
Here’s everything to know about Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum’s relationship.
They confirmed their romance in February 2024

Krakow and Rosenbaum went Instagram official on Feb. 15, 2024, though it’s unclear how long the couple have been together.
Krakow went public with their long-rumored romance by sharing a carousel of images on Instagram, including a photo of her kissing Rosenbaum on the cheek.
The actor also made a post of his own on social media, sharing a screenshot of his lock screen, which featured a photo of Krakow with their dog, Willoughby.
In the caption, he penned a sweet message to Krakow, writing, “First thing I see when I wake up. Last thing I see before sleep. Happy Valentines Day.”
They adopted a dog together

In January 2023, the pair took their relationship to the next level and added a furry friend into the mix. At the time, Krakow announced on social media that she had adopted Willoughby from an animal rescue a week prior, tagging Rosenbaum in the photo, and he shared a similar post the following day.
They celebrated Willoughby’s “gotcha day” on Jan. 8, 2024, with Krakow sharing a snap of their pup laying down in the sand on a beach followed by a picture of a bone shaped cake that read, “Happy Gotcha Day.”
Rosenbaum uploaded two photos of himself posing with Willoughby taken a year apart, writing in the caption, “1 year together and we’ve both got a lot more grey in our facial hair. Love this boy and it’s his gotcha day today (Jan 08).”
The couple have shared plenty of photos and videos of their dog on social media, including sweet snaps of Willoughby at work with Krakow and participating in the National MS Society Walk MS in Los Angeles with Rosenbaum for the second year in a row.
They both star in When Calls the Heart but have different love interests

Both Krakow and Rosenbaum star in the Hallmark Channel drama, set in the early 20th century. Despite their real life romance, they have different love interests on-screen.
They have starred in all 13 seasons of the show since its 2014 inception: Krakow portrays lead character, Elizabeth Thornton, who is a schoolteacher, while Rosenbaum plays town resident Mike Hickam, who eventually becomes the mayor.
Elizabeth was previously married to Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing), until his character’s death at the end of season 5. Her character had several romances in the following seasons, including with Nathan Grant.
Meanwhile, Rosenbaum’s character is married to Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) after their romance played out during season 10.
They enjoy date nights with friends

Though the duo have said little about their relationship publicly, they have given fans a glimpse into their date night activities, including spending time with friends.
In May 2024, Krakow shared a hilarious video from a paint night with Rosenbaum and their costar, Pascale Hutton, which included interesting renditions of one another on canvas.
That same month, the actress posted a snap with Rosenbaum, Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace during a night out in California. In the photo, the two couples posed around at a table at a stadium, with Krakow writing in the caption, “Coupla cowpokes came to Cali!”
Krakow and Rosenbaum reunited with McGarry and Wallace in June, with the group posing together at the theater during a trip to New York.
They’ve traveled together

Even before they went public with their romance, Krakow and Rosenbaum did their fair share of traveling together.
In May 2022, Krakow and Rosenbaum went to Positano, Italy, with McGarry and Wallace. The actor reflected on the trip a year later, sharing several snaps of the group enjoying their time on vacation, including their own homemade Limencello.
The group of four also went to New York City together in December 2023, with Rosenbaum and Krakow both sharing selfies on Instagram showing them with their friends to commemorate the occasion.
They announced their marriage in June 2025
Krakow and Rosenbaum revealed that they’d gotten married in a June 2025 post on Instagram.
The couple shared photos from their romantic outdoor nuptials, which featured Krakow in a silk wedding dress and Rosenbaum in a brown suit.
“It’s a great day to be a #Heartie! Congratulations!” the Hallmark Channel wrote in the comments.
They became parents in 2026
Five months after their wedding, Krakow and Rosenbaum had another surprise for their fans: they were expecting!
In a joint Instagram post, they shared photos of them holding up their ultrasound, along with their dog wearing a “big brother” shirt.
“So much to be grateful for!!! 🥰,” Krakow wrote in the caption.
In June 2026, the couple told PEOPLE that they had welcomed a baby girl in April.
“Our precious new family member entered the world in early April,” they said. “Our daughter has been the greatest gift, and we are loving getting to know her better with each passing day.”
The couple added, “It’s already hard to remember life before she arrived. We are loving our roles as parents, and it feels like being parents together has only deepened our partnership. We are, however, a bit more tired, and Erin — who was a non-coffee drinker previously — has had a change of heart on the matter.”
