Poland has deployed a high-tech solution to deal with an overpopulation of wild boars invading its cities, with a customised humanoid robot now patrolling the streets.

The G1 robot, named Edward, stands 132cm tall and is equipped with a backpack and knee pads as it works to herd the animals away from urban areas and back into the wild.
