In a dominant performance, the Silesia Rebels Katowice (2-0) defeated the Kąty Wrocławskie Jaguars (0-2) by a score of 42-12 as the Polish Football League wound up its third weekend of play.
The Rebels showcased their offensive firepower and solid defense throughout the game, continuing their unbeaten streak.
Rebels take early lead
The Rebels stuck first as Jeremiah Tucker scored on a 1-yard run, putting Silesia up 6-0. The Jaguars quickly responded with a touchdown of their own, as Rafał Rutowicz connected with Sławoj for a 10-yard pass, leveling the score at 6-6.
Tucker shines in the second quarter
In the second quarter, Tucker took control, throwing a 3-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Wakeling, followed by a spectacular 65-yard touchdown pass to Wakeling extending the lead to 21-6. Tucker then found Mateusz Szurplicki for another touchdown, giving Silesia a commanding 28-6 lead at the break.
Jaguars struggle to keep pace
The Jaguars managed to find the end zone in the third quarter with a 57-yard touchdown pass from Rutowicz to Michał Moneta, but the Rebels responded with another touchdown, this time from Tucker to Sebastian, pushing the score to 36-12. Daniel Jagodziński capped off the scoring for Silesia with a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter, sealing the 42-12 victory.
The Rebels continue to look strong as they aim for a successful season.
