In Polish city of Kielce, preparations continue for 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2026, to be held September 8-11, 2026. All exhibition space was sold out nearly two months before opening, while exhibitor count approached 1,000 — largest indicator in event history, Targi Kielce exhibition and congress center press service reports.
Among announced novelties, organizers already named world premiere of GLADIUS II stealth jet unmanned system from Polish WB Group.

Currently known is that for first time in event history, Canada will become MSPO lead nation. It will deploy own national exhibition where 82 Canadian companies will present products — from optoelectronics and aerospace to cybersecurity and radar systems. Organizers promise to make lead nation conference, to be held September 9, this year’s key event.

Defense Express adds Canada’s debut as lead nation coincides with its entry into European SAFE defense program. Canada became first and so far only non-European country admitted to SAFE, so its companies can compete for program-financed projects and create joint ventures with EU partners. Ukrainian defense industry is also eyeing this same financing instrument.
Ukrainian participants at MSPO 2026 currently number 25, with list still growing. Most companies gathered under aegis of National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries (NAUDI), which will deploy two combined stands.
Alongside association itself, presented are Atlon Avia (Furia reconnaissance-adjustment system and ST-35 Silent Thunder loitering munition), Deviro (Leleka-100 reconnaissance UAV), Kvertus (electronic warfare and counter-drone assets), as well as Defence Solution, Ptashka Drones, Reactive Drone, SICH Ukraine, System Electronic Export, TAF Industries and UAdefense.

Several more companies exhibit with separate stands. Most notable among them is Fire Point — long-range FP-1 series drone developer and FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile maker, now working on FP-7 ballistic missile. Own stands will also have Sine Engineering (drone navigation and communications under satellite signal jamming), state foreign trade company Ukrinmash, Octava Defence (cybersecurity), Screentech, OWAD SYSTEMS, TransService, KORT, BRONYX Defense, SkyLab UA, Hobbit House, Tekhavtopart Pivden and Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant.
Ukrainian enterprises have been attending MSPO for a long time. First national stand appeared here back in 2014, Defense Express information consulting company stand — in 2013, while before that private companies actively participated in exhibition, specifically Sparing-Vist Center.

Lead nation exhibition has been integral part of MSPO since 2004. Over this time, Germany, Israel, Sweden, Italy, Norway, Britain and Visegrad Group countries, France, U.S., Turkey and South Korea — twice, Poland — three times, presented their defense potential at the event.
Last year’s 33rd MSPO 2025 gathered over 800 companies from 35 countries, delegations from 42 countries and nearly 40,000 visitors, according to organizers. Then Polish MISTA showed MARGAY 4×4 APC prototype and updated Oncilla with FPV drone protection.
