Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened a coordination group after Poland’s airspace was breached during Russia’s overnight mass attack on Ukraine, he said in a post on X on July 30.

“During Russia’s massive missile strike on western Ukraine, Poland’s airspace was violated. In response, I convened a coordination group with the defense minister and the relevant services,” Tusk wrote.

Polish government spokesperson Adam Szłapka said Tusk was already on his way to the Lublin Voivodeship, where a crater and debris, believed to be from a Russian missile, were discovered after overnight explosions.
