Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski on Saturday, during which both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders reviewed Pakistan–Poland relations and expressed satisfaction over recent positive developments. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in trade, economic ties, and diplomatic engagement.

The discussion also covered regional and global developments, with both sides emphasizing the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement to promote stability and address emerging challenges.

During the call, Sikorski appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in facilitating a ceasefire between Iran and the United States, acknowledging Islamabad’s role in encouraging dialogue and de-escalation.

He said Pakistan’s approach based on diplomacy and negotiation contributes to regional peace and stability.

The Polish foreign minister also extended an invitation to Ishaq Dar to visit Poland in June 2026, aiming to further institutionalize cooperation and explore new areas of partnership between the two countries.
