Goshen baseball prepares for Warsaw matchup

  • April 22, 2026

GOSHEN, Ind. (WNDU) – Goshen baseball will host Warsaw on Wednesday after opening conference play with a win over Northridge.

The RedHawks are 5-2 this season and coming off their first IHSAA 4A sectional title since 2008 and first trip to the semi-state since 1981. Nine seniors return on the roster.

“A lot of good athletes down there not just on the baseball field but a lot of them play multi sports. A lot of good strong athletes,” said Goshen head coach JJ DuBois about the Warsaw Tigers. “They will have good pitching. They are a little inexperienced there but they have a lot of talent there. They will be able to swing it so we are just going to execute our pitches and we have a great pitching coach that makes sure we have the right calls and hopefully able to execute the pitches that are called.”

Braxton Cline, Goshen senior shortstop, said Warsaw has a strong pitching staff and hitters.

“We are just looking to go out there and play our best game,” Cline said.

First pitch is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday.
