An industry conference in Rzeszow will gather leaders and delegations to preview defence innovations. Attendees aim to forge deals that speed Ukraine’s reconstruction.

In Rzeszów, Poland, on 26–27 April there will be the conference “On the Path to URC (Ukraine Recovery Conference): Security and Defense Dimension,” during which 45 Ukrainian companies will present capabilities in the defense-industrial sector.

Information about the event was provided by the Polish Agency for Industrial Development (ARP), which is responsible for organizing the event, according to its representatives.

Participation and format of the conference

In total, around 1,000 participants are expected. The event has an international character: among the attendees will be representatives from Ukraine, Poland, and partners from other countries. It is expected that about 120 companies will present their solutions in the EXPO area, including 50 from Poland, 45 from Ukraine, and 25 from other states such as the United States, Germany, Spain, or Estonia

As part of the event, participation is expected from participants from various countries, as well as representatives of the governments of Poland and Ukraine, accredited diplomatic missions, and international organizations.

A key emphasis is on presenting solutions that can directly contribute to modernizing infrastructure, increasing its resilience, and accelerating the rebuilding process. The expected outcome of the event is to establish concrete business contacts, initiate projects, and strengthen the presence of Polish companies in the Ukrainian market

EXPO participants will present a wide range of technological solutions, including unmanned technologies, air defense systems, solutions in the area of military mobility, cybersecurity, protection of critical infrastructure, and countering disinformation. An important role is also played by dual-use technologies, which can be used in both civilian and defense sectors

Among the showcased developments, special attention is given to innovations that support Ukraine’s reconstruction – in particular cybersecurity systems, mobile infrastructure technologies, and modern air-defense measures.

The organizers of URC 2026 state that the international Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk is planned for 25–26 June 2026 and will focus on five main thematic directions. Participation is expected from delegations from more than 100 countries, including about 40 government-level delegations.

As part of preparations for reconstruction and modernization, the integration of Polish companies into global supply chains and support for Ukrainian infrastructure plays an important role.

In conclusion, this initiative aims to deepen cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish partners to strengthen the capacity of critically important sectors and accelerate the country’s recovery.
