‘It’s hard to put into words how incredible this journey has been’
‘It’s truly a career-defining moment for me’
An Edinburgh singer who was gunning for gold on Poland’s Got Talent hasn’t made the finals. Carl Marah, 32, performed his single You’re Always Right in the semi-finals on April 25.
Sadly, he didn’t make the cut. However, he branded the experience ‘incredible’.
Carl described the show as a ‘career-defining moment’. The Polish equivalent to Britain’s Got Talent, Mam Talent, is judged by Agnieszka Chylinska, Marcin Prokop, Julia Wieniawa and Agustin Egurrola.

“It’s hard to put into words how incredible this @mamtalent_tvn journey has been. As a kid I remember watching shows like this on TV, so seeing myself performing on screen in such a professional production is quite an out of body experience!
“Im really proud of my performance and it’s truly a career-defining moment for me. Massive congratulations to @dreamcatchernina @ niewidocznedlaoczu.pl and @kaczorexpop for progressing into the final! Everyone in that episode was world class and great things will come everyone’s way I’m sure.
“Special thanks to @ryanbradleydrums and @simontonermusic who joined me for the performance. Masterful musicians and great company on such an epic mission.”
Fans were quick to commend Carl on his efforts. One said: “Guid job man. Stellar stuff! Hope you had fun.”

“This still feels pretty surreal but I’m immensely excited for the show – the sensational @simontonermusic and @ryanbradleydrums will be helping me bring the tune to life.”
