Snail Inc (NASDAQ:SNAL) told investors on Friday that it is continuing to expand its international game development network through partnerships with three Poland-based studios as part of its broader global growth strategy.

The company, through its subsidiary Wandering Wizard, highlighted its collaborations with Above The Desk, developer of Above the Snow; Donkey Crew, creator of Bellwright; and Frozen Way Games, which is developing Honeycomb: The World Beyond.

Snail Games said Poland remains an important market for game development, citing industry data showing the country has produced more than 40 gaming franchises that have surpassed 1 million units sold.

The company noted that Bellwright has sold more than 1 million units globally during its early access release on Steam.

“At Snail Games we’ve been eager to support emerging game dev markets and have seen tremendous creative talent and ideas coming from Poland,” CEO Hai Shi said in a statement. “Our partnership and work with these three studios reflect the value of our international network.”

Shi added that the studios represent a range of gaming genres, including simulation, survival, and exploration-based titles, and said the company aims to support a broad range of global development talent.

The company also pointed to this week’s Digital Dragons conference in Kraków as an example of the continued growth of Poland’s gaming sector. Above The Desk participated in the event, which brings together developers, publishers, and industry professionals from across the region.

Snail Games said its partnerships in Poland align with its broader international expansion efforts, which include operations in the United States, partnerships across Europe, and a presence in Asia.

The company added that it is also exploring opportunities in Latin America as part of its long-term publishing and development strategy.

Shares of Snail Games added around 1.3% on Friday morning.
