{"id":11832,"date":"2026-06-15T02:21:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T02:21:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/11832\/"},"modified":"2026-06-15T02:21:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T02:21:11","slug":"lutoryz-poland-pathologist-charged-after-more-than-30-fetuses-allegedly-found-buried-at-her-former-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/11832\/","title":{"rendered":"Lutory\u017c, Poland: Pathologist charged after more than 30 fetuses allegedly found buried at her former home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">A gruesome discovery made at the former home of a pathologist has prompted a major investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Buried in the garden were more than 30 human fetuses and medical waste, which were reportedly used for experiments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">The discovery on June 10 was made at a home in the Polish village of Lutory\u017c, near the city of Rzesz\u00f3w, which was formerly owned by a 57-year-old pathologist identified by media as Magdalena H.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-3mk41m-StyledText eze0guv9\">Sign up to The Nightly&#8217;s newsletters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-1r9pdr5-StyledSubText eze0guv8\">Get the first look at the digital newspaper, curated daily stories and breaking headlines delivered to your inbox.<\/p>\n<p>By continuing you agree to our <a href=\"https:\/\/thenightly.com.au\/subscription-terms\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Terms<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sevenwestmedia.com.au\/privacy-policies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Local English language outlet <a class=\"css-hwy1qg-StyledTextLink ezegcyi0\" data-link-type=\"article-inline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/tvpworld.com\/93788293\/unborn-humans-allegedly-used-in-experiments-found-buried-in-poland\">TVP World<\/a> reported that prosecutors said that 32 human fetuses were discovered in the garden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">\u201cAs established so far, these items were found during earthworks on the property,\u201d prosecutor Krzysztof Ciechanowski said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">\u201cAmong the waste there was also a human fetus and other remains that could constitute human fetuses in an early stage of development or their fragments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Medical examiners have confirmed that the fetuses are human.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Other Polish outlets have reported it could be between 50 and 100 fetal remains found on the property.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Medical waste found alongside the bodies included paraffin blocks used by pathologists and microscope slides.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">The suspect reportedly told investigators that she took the fetuses from a hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic to use for medical experiments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\"><a class=\"css-hwy1qg-StyledTextLink ezegcyi0\" data-link-type=\"article-inline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/radio.rzeszow.pl\/328527\/trzymiesieczny-areszt-dla-patomorfolozki-na-dzialce-w-lutoryzu-znaleziono-ponad-30-ludzkich-plodow\/\">Radio Rzesz\u00f3w<\/a> reported that the woman was charged with desecrating a human corpse and abandoning hazardous waste in a place not designated for storage or disposal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">She will remain in custody until September 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">The maximum sentence for the charges is 12 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">It is not yet clear if the pathologist acted alone or alongside others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Investigators suspect there may be more than one property involved and they are working to determine if there are other burial sites.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A gruesome discovery made at the former home of a pathologist has prompted a major investigation.
