The document was signed by the defense ministers of both countries: Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysz and Boris Pistorius.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Ministry of National Defence of Poland, the new document provides for expanding cooperation in cyber security, troop mobility, the development of logistical infrastructure, and security in the Baltic Sea.<\/p>\n<p>The document replaces the previous defense cooperation agreement between the governments of Poland and Germany, signed in Warsaw in June 2011, and systematizes ongoing cooperation taking into account the present security environment in Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The new provisions cover issues of military mobility, the development of logistical infrastructure, cooperation in the maritime domain, notably in the Baltic Sea, cybersecurity, and space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new cooperation agreement with Germany opens up new directions for cooperation, particularly in cybersecurity and new technologies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysz<\/p>\n<p>According to the Minister of Defence, the parties will also strengthen cooperation in the field of space technologies, the development of military infrastructure, and ensuring troop mobility.
