A high-level meeting in Krakow set immediate plans to strengthen Ukrainian cultural education and humanitarian support, promising closer cooperation between the consulate and the OUP.<\/p>\n
In Krak\u00f3w, a working meeting took place between Ukraine\u2019s General Consul Oresta Starak and the head of the Krak\u00f3w branch of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland (AUP), Andriy Oliynyk. The parties agreed to coordinate efforts to build up Ukrainian cultural and educational space and to support humanitarian initiatives.<\/p>\n
According to the consulate, the meeting enabled agreeing on further cooperation between the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Krak\u00f3w and the Association of Ukrainians in Poland regarding joint cultural, educational, and civic projects and systematic support for Ukraine.<\/p>\n
During the negotiations, the current state of the Ukrainian community in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship and the prospects for its development in the near term were outlined.<\/p>\n
The practical collaboration between the diplomatic mission and the AUP in implementing joint cultural and educational initiatives and mechanisms for providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine was discussed.<\/p>\n
Special attention was given to preserving the national identity of Ukrainians abroad, caring for memorial sites, and promoting Ukrainian history among Polish society.<\/p>\n
Joint Efforts and Prospects for Partnership<\/p>\n
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on clear coordination of further steps and the development of practical partnership to implement the planned cross-border and local projects.<\/p>\n
It was also agreed to continue systematic cooperation to support the Ukrainian community and strengthen cultural exchange between the countries.<\/p>\n
