The MDM is one of several competing initiatives aimed at \u200cchannelling more private \u2060cash into rearming nations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;We have benefited from the support of a broader group of \u2060allies in developing the technical details of this model,&#8221; the four nations said in their statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">They said they \u200bwould work \u200bto expand the coalition \u200bof nations involved in \u200cthe project and would move on to the next phase of developing the mechanism with countries that have declared their participation in autumn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Another key project in the increasingly crowded field of defence financing initiatives is \u200cthe Defence, Security and Resilience \u200bBank.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Canada is aiming to announce \u200baround 10 founding \u200bnations for the DSRB at the NATO \u200csummit.
