It was this crisis that finally made Russians wake up and question what the Kremlin is saying.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Kremlin, Putin, needs a new escalation, some kind of new win, and the Baltic region and Poland are the nearest targets in this case,&#8221; the Lithuanian defense minister said.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first warning from Lithuanian authorities about Putin&#8217;s plans. Lithuanian President Gitanas Naus\u0117da recently said that Moscow is indeed planning provocations in Poland or the Baltic states.<\/p>\n<p>One of Putin&#8217;s key goals is to test NATO&#8217;s unity.<\/p>\n<p>As Naus\u0117da explained, this assessment is based on intelligence and concerns possible Russian attacks on critical infrastructure in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The Lithuanian president warned that they could be carried out using both conventional military means and so-called hybrid tactics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/newsukraine.rbc.ua\/news\/putin-s-approval-rating-drops-5-points-in-1784284781.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Putin&#8217;s approval rating in Russia<\/a> continues to fall rapidly.<\/p>\n<p>The Kremlin has also ordered its troops to monitor NATO exercises.<\/p>\n<p>It also emerged that a <a href=\"https:\/\/newsukraine.rbc.ua\/news\/russian-missile-nearly-disrupted-nato-summit-1784224880.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Russian missile nearly disrupted the Alliance summit in Ankara<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The fact is that Russia&#8221;s war against Ukraine is currently a complete failure for the Kremlin.
