{"id":1812,"date":"2026-04-15T06:00:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T06:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/1812\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T06:00:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T06:00:06","slug":"ukrainian-fm-poland-iceland-back-tribunal-for-russias-aggression","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/1812\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukrainian FM: Poland, Iceland back tribunal for Russia\u2019s aggression"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>15 April 2026 09:29<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has announced that Poland and Iceland have expressed readiness to join an agreement on establishing a special tribunal for Russia over the \u201ccrime of aggression against Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sharing a post on X, Sybiha said that support from the two countries has helped reach the required number of participants to advance the initiative,<a style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219);\" href=\"https:\/\/caliber.az\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> Caliber.Az<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWith 17 confirmations we have officially crossed the bare legal minimum of CoE member states required to put the agreement to vote,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Iceland and Poland have confirmed their willingness to join the agreement required to launch the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression Against Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>We are grateful to our Icelandic and Polish partners for taking this important step.
