Imany is a voice you recognize instantly \u2014 deep, radiant, and filled with truth. Of Comorian descent, she has, over the years, established herself as one of the most distinctive voices on the French and international music scenes, blending soul, folk, and pop with rare intensity.Her name, meaning \u201cfaith\u201d in Swahili, already tells a story: that of a free woman who, after a brief stint as a model in New York, returned to Paris to write, compose, and sing \u2014 gradually making stages resonate with her quiet strength. From her debut album in 2011, \u201cThe Shape of a Broken Heart\u201d \u2014 which went platinum internationally \u2014 Imany struck a chord with a wide audience, with songs like \u201cYou Will Never Know\u201d.<\/p>\n
