<\/p>\nThe flat of a young doctor in Krak\u00f3w, designed by AAG ARCH, was conceived as a space for rest \u2013 a place where, after intense shifts, she can find peace, warmth and tranquillity. The design combines the functionality of a compact space with bold colour accents, creating an interior with a clear, deliberate character.<\/p>\n
The owner had always dreamt of a bold red accent, which was initially intended for the bathroom. Ultimately, it became the focal point of the bedroom \u2013 an intense red wall at the head of the bed creates an atmosphere of intimacy and adds energy, whilst a pumpkin-coloured cabinet was installed in the bathroom. These rich colours are balanced by beige surfaces and warm lighting, which ties the whole space together and lends the interior a sense of softness.<\/p>\n
A private retreat<\/p>\n
The most elaborate element of the design is a multifunctional piece of furniture spanning the entire length of the bedroom. Designed with space-saving in mind, it combines sliding doors that enclose the sleeping area, a spacious wardrobe, a utility section and a bookcase. It is here that the owner\u2019s favourite medical books and literary classics, which have accompanied her since her student days, have found their place. The shelves provide a visual anchor for the entire room, whilst organising the space without overwhelming it.<\/p>\n
In the living area, a side wall lamp with a wide range of arm movement plays a key role. It allows for precise lighting of various areas of the living room \u2013 from the relaxation zone to the small home office area. This solution is particularly important for someone working irregular hours, who needs flexible lighting adapted to changing activities.<\/p>\n

Mobile work corner<\/p>\n The design also includes a compact, mobile office corner. It consists of a combination of stools from IKEA\u2019s ergonomic range, which can be freely moved and arranged as required. This solution allows the owner to work on medical records or prepare for upcoming shifts without having to set aside a permanent desk, which is particularly important in a flat with limited space.<\/p>\n Bathroom<\/p>\n The bathroom, though small, has been designed with great attention to detail. The pumpkin-coloured cabinet adds a striking accent that harmonises with the beige surfaces and warm lighting. It is a space that remains functional whilst retaining a sense of lightness \u2013 an effect achieved through the careful selection of materials and proportions.<\/p>\n The overall design by the AAG ARCH studio creates a flat with a cohesive, deliberate character. Rich colours complement the neutral tones, whilst well-thought-out functional solutions allow every square metre to be used to its full potential.
