{"id":22059,"date":"2026-08-21T06:16:11","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T06:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/22059\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T06:16:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T06:16:11","slug":"we-are-on-your-side-poland-backs-indias-right-to-pursue-terrorists-across-borders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/22059\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018We are on your side\u2019: Poland backs India\u2019s right to pursue terrorists across borders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Speaking in New Delhi, Polish envoy Piotr Antoni Switalski backed India\u2019s counter-terrorism approach, saying Poland stands with India on transnational terrorism <\/p>\n<p class=\"forfirstp\">Poland has expressed strong support for India\u2019s approach to dealing with terrorism, with Polish Ambassador to India Piotr Antoni Switalski saying Warsaw backs New Delhi\u2019s right to pursue terrorists wherever they operate.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at an event organised by the Centre for Integrated and Holistic Studies in New Delhi, Switalski said Poland and India share a firm position against terrorism and have both experienced its impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the question of terrorism, we are on your side because we are victims of terrorism,\u201d Switalski said. \u201cWe support your right to pursue terrorists everywhere they go because our policy on that is very clear, and we said it openly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Poland stresses solidarity with India<\/p>\n<p>Addressing diplomats and security experts, the Polish envoy said Warsaw understands the serious consequences of transnational terrorism and supports India\u2019s efforts to protect its citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Switalski referred to terrorist attacks targeting Indians, including attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, and said such incidents underline the need for a strong response to cross-border terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>The ambassador also spoke about his personal experience in Jammu and Kashmir.
