Agents of a foreign intelligence service were involved in setting
\nfire<\/a> to a plant operated by a company that makes drones for the Polish and
\nUkrainian militaries, Poland\u2019s National Prosecutor\u2019s Office stated on Aug. 31.<\/p>\n

The investigation is being led by a prosecutor from the
\nMa\u0142opolska branch of the National Prosecutor\u2019s Office\u2019s Department for
\nOrganized Crime and Corruption.<\/p>\n

According to investigators, the fire at WB Electronics SA\u2019s
\nfacility in Skar\u017cysko-Kamienna began on Aug. 31 after an incendiary device
\ncontaining flammable materials was planted.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fire destroyed warehouse facilities, and the losses
\namount to at least PLN15 million [$3.8 million],\u201d prosecutors said.<\/p>\n

The plant, located between Warsaw and Krak\u00f3w, makes military
\ndrone components used by both Poland and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Polish news outlet Onet reported that security cameras
\nrecorded an unidentified person wearing a balaclava. The person entered the
\nfacility by climbing over a fence. An abandoned backpack and a long-sleeved
\nshirt were later found near the plant.<\/p>\n
