The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, said that during a stroll through Gda\u0144sk with French President Emmanuel Macron, the moment that moved them most was a Ukrainian woman\u2019s word \u201cthank you,\u201d which shows the high regard for Polish and French aid to Ukraine.<\/p>\n
The prime minister explained this during a joint press conference in Gda\u0144sk, where the leaders exchanged views on supporting Ukraine and the security of the EU and NATO\u2019s eastern flank. According to Tusk, the French leader is held in high esteem in Poland \u2013 hundreds of people took to the streets to greet him on his arrival.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut, perhaps, the most moving moment for us was a young Ukrainian woman with the words \u2018thank you\u2019 (she spoke Ukrainian \u2013 ed.), who wanted to thank you and me for supporting Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n
