{"id":4080,"date":"2026-04-28T17:09:12","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T17:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/4080\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T17:09:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T17:09:12","slug":"%f0%9f%87%b5%f0%9f%87%b1-poland-alicja-reveals-dancers-prop-to-feature-in-her-eurovision-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/poland\/4080\/","title":{"rendered":"\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1 Poland: Alicja Reveals Dancers &#038; Prop to Feature in Her Eurovision Performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TVP held a press conference today in Warsaw to reveal more details of Poland\u2019s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Dziennik Eurowizyjny reports that Alicja Szempli\u0144ska is set to be joined on stage in Warsaw by four dancers, with her performance of \u201cPray\u201d also set to feature a prop. The performance has been choreographed by Adam Beta, who has worked on a number of TV productions. The dancers joining Alicja on stage are: W\u0142odek Ko\u0142oby, Oskar Borkowski, Krystian Rzymkiewicz and Stefano Silvino.<\/p>\n<p>What the prop that will feature in the Polish performance will be has not been confirmed, but the Director confirmed it will not be stairs, folded hands or a confessional. It was confirmed that Alicja will start the performance on stage alone, but will be joined by others during \u201cPray\u201d. Kamil Staszczyszyn explained:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know it\u2019s trivial to say that something like this hasn\u2019t happened at Eurovision, but I think this performance will be different and, to some extent, stand out from previous Polish performances and performances by other countries,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tomasz So\u0142owi\u0144ski was confirmed as the Polish Head of Delegation, and Kamil Staszczyszyn will be the Director. Jacek Dybowski is reposnsible for the cameras, Marcin Bania has developed the visuals and Marcin Michna for lighting. In addition, Artur Orzech was also confirmed as the commentator for the contest in Vienna. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Alicja was selected to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after winning\u00a0Fina\u0142 krajowych kwalifikacji\u00a0with her song \u201cPray\u201d. The song was written by Alicja herself, alongside Sinclair Alan Malcolm and Weronika Gabryelczyk. Their debut year saw their best result to date in the contest, as Edyta G\u00f3rniak finished in 2nd place with her song \u201cTo nie ja!\u201d. Following this, Poland failed to repeat this initial success, only managing to achieve a top 10 finish on two other occasions since their debut.
